We value sustainability and social responsibility. Our goal is to make a positive impact and contribute to a better world, not only through our services but also in other areas. In this blog, we will share more about our contributions.

What is CSR?

CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility, which is becoming increasingly important for organizations as customers and governments have higher expectations. In an era focused on sustainability, social justice, and environmental consciousness, companies are being evaluated based on their societal impact. Customers appreciate transparency, ethical business practices, and involvement in social issues. Moreover, government agencies and regulators have stricter requirements regarding sustainability and corporate responsibility.

And what do we do?

Since the inception of Unexus, we have been mindful of our impact and strive for transparent and effective customer interactions. Additionally, we actively seek opportunities to contribute to society beyond our client base. To achieve this, we have identified four areas of focus where we invest our efforts:

1. 100% Dutch-owned

We are proud to say that all our software development and hosting are carried out entirely in the Netherlands. This approach supports the Dutch economy and allows us to quickly respond to our clients’ needs while delivering high-quality service and support.

2. Transparency and Social Involvement

We believe in openness and honesty regarding our services. We also aim to actively contribute to social causes that have an impact on our community. For several years, we have supported the Amersfoort Food Bank, annually sponsored the Rehabilitation Golf Foundation, and contributed to various charitable organizations. We offer our clients a partnership with Queup and contribute to fair wages and good causes through the purchase of fair-trade and eco-friendly office supplies and inventory.

3. Reducing Polluting Miles with Electric Cars

We make every effort to reduce our CO2 emissions, and our vehicle fleet plays a crucial role in this endeavor. We strive to minimize polluting miles unless necessary for our clients. All our leased cars are electric, and we take pride in this achievement.

4. Sustainable Data Center

As we provide cloud-based ICT services, we understand the environmental impact related to power consumption. Therefore, we carefully selected our data center provider, Dataplace, which places great importance on sustainability. Dataplace is fully certified according to ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management) and demonstrates high sustainability standards. Our data centers operate solely on green energy.

In conclusion, we remain dedicated to promoting sustainability and social responsibility within our organization. This commitment is continually evolving, and we will update our website accordingly. For the most up-to-date information about our CSR policy, please visit our webpage.
